Skeleton Shrimp

Asked my Marine Biologist friend if he knew what this creature was and he said he did not but if I emailed him my photo he would ask some Invertebrate Biologists.
Key word "invertebate" brought up Amphipod and led to Caprellidae:

Black Ball Ferry deigned to let us come home this morning. We may consider "Reserving" a spot on the ferry next trip.
Though the RV was comfy it's always a treat to get home to the cold house, light the furnace and have your familiar BATHROOM!
Loved every minute!

Leavin' in the mornin' for a couple of weeks.

This photo is date stamped 1973. I think I might have helped put the fencing in the tree line, right background, many years before that - my first paid employment.
When his older brothers (my father included) went "Overseas" during WW 11 Whitey was stuck looking after the family farm.
Though he did a fair job of it and acquired many adjoining properties including the fields in this photo, he was actually an artist and a thinker according to my memories.

I don't know if I mentioned it but I sent a cheek swab sample to:
a while ago.
I have read the finished results and sent links to sisters, mother and daughters.
Apparently the most complete information of ancestry can only be obtained from the males of a family because the females only have the X chromosome but the male has both X and Y.
So I guess I am a "real man" after all.
