I've got a "Full House": Actually I've only got two pair - two girls and two dogs but I'm a wild card so that makes a full house. No need to try to guess which pair I'm making three of a kind.
Anyhow, back to the theme of my last blog entry:

has a quick summary of another "Sunken City".

No, I'm not that lucky, I have about 5 1/2 hours to go, on my 2nd dayshift. I return tomorrow night for the first of two nights, then I'll be done until Monday unless I work some of my days off!

Morning Ylee:
Yes, the 3.5" USB drive is on order and I'll get Markey to set it up and figure out how to read the old stuff at least. The LCD screen on the old Bondwell is small and green - not a lot of contrast.
Just going - as soon as it warms up a bit here - to check that the boat made it through the night at the dock. We'll stay fairly close to the harbour for the first month or so and make sure we have done things correctly. There is an amazing amount of stuff under the engine cover and for that matter in the outboard leg.
Almost all of it was rebuilt if not new.
I thought from your blog you'd be off work by now.

ycd, that's great news! I hope the boat doesn't leave you stranded in the water, but I'm sure you have everything that could go wrong accounted for!

Weren't you going to get a USB 3.5" floppy drive?

Thought I'd posted but whatever:
Boat is in the chuck and runs well. Tomorrow we will go there and wash her down and maybe take a short "Shakedown" cruise around the harbour.

Busy waiting for the dawn here. It's about -3 C.
Big day for me: I'm going to trailer the boat down and meet my mechanic at the wharf.
I hope.
Tloml is home today so she can ride herd on the dogs and grand daughter and drive the "pilot" car as I limp the old truck and trailer to the launch ramp.

Careful what you wish for:
Fired up the ancient "Bondwell" Laptop and read some entries from around 1995.
My kids used the machine for school assignments and I used it to ramble on to myself (there was no WU then). I now find it difficult to distinguish my voice from one of the kids or other relations and friends who stored stuff they wrote there.
Grand daughter was actually interested in the old machine. More or less like you or I might take an interest in an early motor vehicle - a Model "A" Ford or a "Rio" truck while our new Honda or Nissan sits in the yard. She has her mom's Apple laptop and her own Smart Phone here tonight so I guess I'll leave the router running.

Markey, who built this computer, was just here and approved that Hal might have a few more nano seconds left. One thing I wanted was to get some old stuff off of the boxes of 3,5" "floppies" where I and some others stored stuff and read it in some more modern version such as this computer. According to Markey it ain't that simple.
