The windshield is 40 year old "safety glass". Without the polaroid lens it looks clear though a bit grungy - hasn't rained here for a couple of weeks. We are not used to needing to rinse the boat because usually the rain has just rinsed it or it is still rinsing away the grunge.

Who's T-Model? never heard of him(or her). I wouldn't have thought LL's daughter would be in her 60s, but since she had her kids while she was in her mid-teens, I guess the math adds up.

Evening shoreacres:
Let's see what happens here:

The Blueberry farm is near the north west shore of Michael Lake. It is a small "U-pick" and only open on week ends. We had a cool damp spring but about a month ago the Blueberry ripenner came up one morning and has been showing up regularly ever since. We freeze trays and bag them for winter. Can't beat the fresh taste but I'm looking forward to the pies.
We have to take better care of our musicians. And I guess ourselves in my case. Folks our age should have lots more miles in them and I don't even want to think about the younger ones who left way too soon.

Evening, ycd - Loved the truck you left at my place. And lo! It is blueberry season. I just dug one of the boxes out of the trash to see where they actually came from. They were picked at Purewal Blueberry Farms, Pitt Meadows, BC. I looked it up on the map - east of Vancouver, but not by far. I went over and picked up four more pounds to put in the freezer. A fresh blueberry pie or cobbler will be nice this winter. ;)

I just saw that Loretta Lynn's daughter has died. That's something to ponder, since the daughter was in her sixties. Anyway: that's T-Model, JJ Cale and Loretta's daughter. If this things really come in threes, that ought to do it for musicians and musical families for a while. Sure do hope so!

Hey Ylee:
I see your latest cams but no Ylee comments.
I'll play with the polarized lenses and see if I can make my old truck look like the Classic it is now.
Rob: Great video choice there. I like Paul Simon even though I haven't heard much recent music from him.
Sorry to read that you are suffering pain in the neck and shoulder. I have actually had good results from chiropractors and masseusi (however that might be spelled).
Still watching for RTLSNK and his troupe to show up on the cam at your place.
Bogon: "When the mother of the groom ---" sort of pins our age, doesn't it?
I've been reading about your travel delays and wondering if a GPS would actually tell you about traffic problems. My "TomTom" GPS mentions a "Delays on Route" function but I have never checked it out.

Nice production values on that video, Rob. Good pick.

Here's one I found by following YouTube's suggestions for a couple of steps. It goes with the feeling I got during a wedding this weekend. I can remember when the mother of the groom was a sweet, cherubic blue-eyed little girl.

Maybe if you took your pics through the Polaroid lens, it would take the grunge off!

I like the lily picture, too!

Evening BriarCraft:
Your comment made me go back to actually look at the photo. Usually I just snap something and I can not see much on the tiny screen in the sun.
I only see the picture once I have uploaded it to the computer.
Had a good feeling about that one in the real world though.
Like your father I see most flowers as "Posies".

With as little time as I've been spending around the blogosphere lately, I'm thrilled to be first!

The depth and colors in that pond lily pic just do it for me!
