Looks like we are finally on the same shift. Seems normal to check your blog and know you just left work. I am figuring out what time of day it is here. The Flu/Cold has abated somewhat but snoozes in late afternoon seem to be mandatory - at least according to Tloml. She sees me nodding off after supper and prints out a work order: "Go to bed!"
Gunther came over this morning and we started looking at making scaffolding to start the metal roofing here. Decided to hop in the pickup and drive to my #2 daughter's to get a load of lumber but the battery was flat. Someone had left the headlights on while I was down south - not sayin' who did that but even the RV hooked up on jumper cables would not turn the starter. Put a charger on the battery for a couple of hours and the engine cranked up fine but by then the day was done.
Tallness is a double edged sword. Yes I can reach the top shelf and according to some (who leave the lights on in the pickup now and then) I also build the top shelf too high for "normal" folks. I figure I have spent half my life reaching higher from a ladder and the other half on my folded knees putting flooring or base board down.
I can't point my finger at anyone leaving the lights on without having three fingers point at me!
