A little about my self -

I joined weather Underground in August of 2005 right after they opened the blogging feature. I have been a weather hobbyist since the middle 60's when I lived on the west coast of Florida, north of the Tampa Bay area. I currently live in a small community in central Illinois.

I have been through numerous Hurricanes during my life time. The worse being Hurricane Camille in August 17,1969, A Cat 5, where the eye passed over the location I was at. That being Biloxi, Ms when I was in the USAF stationed at Keesler AFB.

White rabbits X 3, wab! Happy March. Or not. You're getting snow again? Good grief.

I wish I could send you some of our warmer temps. While not quite shorts weather, it has been so much nicer than those days of ice and snow.

We just had a shower and had to snatch clothes off the lines. Luckily, there wasn't a whole bunch out there yet. The radar looks pretty clear, except for one little patch to our west. I should be able to get it all back outside soon and finish up the job.

I don't mind if it shifts North, (I don't think it will) but I don't want anyone to get an ice storm either. Especially you all in Central IL. 12 degrees here. Try to have a good weekend, Wab!

Jus .. hope your weekend is good also but looks like we will both be having a winter storm ..

ice will stay south of us here around Peoria but the I70 Ice corridor should watch out .. may be very bad for them .. Decatur, Springfield and south ..

Ylee may get hit with the mix ..

we are hearing anything from 4 inches to 12 inches totals for the weekend !!

I'm going for about 1.7 tonight and then 7 inches Saturday for us .. so a total of around 8.5 inches seem likely ..
