Same ULL that Skye mentioned has given us severe thunderstorm warnings two nights in a row. It smells like TS again and pool is filled with ants. Must be the new blob... What do you think?

It's 85F outside right now, with a heat index of 92F. I've got socks on 'cause our office is like a meat locker. You could hang sides of beef in this place.

Oh, dear, those school shootings seem to be happening far too often... I hope no one was hurt, and do wonder whether the gun culture over there is part of the problem. We may have the odd disturbance in schools here, but it is usually a stabbing and not gun shot.

Temps weren't bad here but the humidity has been. I'm looking forward to some cool fall weather. And I'm craving 'winter' foods. Soups, stews, roasts, etc.

I have about had my fill of salads, cold ham, etc. I am ready for comfort foods. Things that require the use of an oven. I do about anything to avoid using the oven in the summer. It just heats up the house too much. Our window unit just can't handle it.

We didn't get any bad weather, thank heavens. We didn't even get much rain. There was only about .15 of an inch in the gauge this a.m. That was from all day yesterday and last night.

I thought we might get some storms over night but they passed us by.

The sun is now peeping out and the high for today is only supposed to get to 83 or so. Lovely.

No rain here but plenty of wind...hot.

I thought I'd stepped through a dimensional portal when I went out to get the paper around 5:30 this morning. Compared to the hot and humid weather we've been having, that 60F felt like 40!

It's up to about 84 now but, dang....

Need a coat to get the paper or is heat back?
