A little about my self -

I joined weather Underground in August of 2005 right after they opened the blogging feature. I have been a weather hobbyist since the middle 60's when I lived on the west coast of Florida, north of the Tampa Bay area. I currently live in a small community in central Illinois.

I have been through numerous Hurricanes during my life time. The worse being Hurricane Camille in August 17,1969, A Cat 5, where the eye passed over the location I was at. That being Biloxi, Ms when I was in the USAF stationed at Keesler AFB.

Finn .. Until 96L develops more no one can be sure where she will go ... could have landfall anywhere from Mexico to Tampa ...

Yes, kids grow up so fast....
Where do you think the future Debby will go? East or West?
We sure are getting a whole lotta rain here, though today was sunny, a nice break.

Skye ... yes the front looked impressive but we were so dry it dissipated around us only giving us a trace... still over 5 inches behind on rainfall and you can see it in the crops ...
Member Since: August 17, 2005 Posts: 380 Comments: 36266
Skye ... just got back from a ball game and was very comfortable for a change ... G-sons team won 10 to 5 and he pitched the last inning and ended up giving up 2 runs but struck out the side ... so a great game for us to watch ... they all grow up so fast ...

We have 96L sitting on the Yucatan Peninsula ... NHC is giving it a 50% chance of developing...

Start preparing northern gulf coast ...

The models are still picking up on something developing in the gulf ... don't like the CMC Model at all ....

Wabit!

Just popping in to say hi.... the heat is on! Summer is here & looks like we all are watching Debby!
Cane Season & it brings out the crazies, the blogs, well let's just say its a looney bin! hahahaha

Cheshire Cat: If I were looking for a white rabbit, I'd ask the Mad Hatter.
Alice: The Mad Hatter? Oh, no no no...
Cheshire Cat: Or, you could ask the March Hare, in that direction.
Alice: Oh, thank you. I think I'll see him...
Cheshire Cat: Of course, he's mad, too.
Alice: But I don't want to go among mad people.
Cheshire Cat: Oh, you can't help that. Most everyone's mad here.
[laughs maniacally; starts to disappear]
Cheshire Cat: You may have noticed that I'm not all there myself.

Hope all is well with you....

G-Kid's team didn't do so well last night being beaten by a score of 10 to 5 ...

But they made a couple of really good plays and the used them as teaching tools between innings...
Member Since: August 17, 2005 Posts: 380 Comments: 36266

Quoting whitewabit:
A very hot one today ... officially up to 90 degrees but saw 96 on my 2 gauges ... wind still blowing around 20 mph constant with higher gusts ...

Not a day to wear a hat ...

LOL - But wind of that strength makes it feel even hotter, and dries out any benefits that the welcome rain may have given you.
Happy Tuesday.
