We are all here watching the track of tropical storm Fay really closely. Right now it is south of Cuba with rainbands starting to effect the Florida Keys. Here is how i see it playing out:

Tropical Storm Fay

West coast of Florida:

landfall on Tuesday near Bradenton Florida

winds are forecasted to get to strong cat 1 status

waves of 15 feet not out of question

surge of 5-7 feet expected (damage to coastal homes more than likely from winds and surge.)

winds of 90 mph not out of question with higher gusts

moderate damage to older homes and severe damage to trailer homes possible.

alot of tree damage

power outages lasting up to two weeks not out of question

shelters will open on Monday should Fay get this strong

catastrophic damage to high rises if it does go up the mouth of the bay

anyone near the water (even tidal creeks) needs to evacuate tomorrow as a precaution as tampa bay will be in your backyards should this play out
