I love it when know-nothing media-twisters, always put the spin on climate change.Today I heard all the tornadoes flattening parts of SE US was just "wind" and not "climate". First report this year... awaiting thunderstorm season, and basically warmer weather. The grass and crocus are way ahead of the air temperatures. The odd nice sunny day is usually overcrowded by cloudy - cold - and windy conditions.Compared to last year's anomalous weather of 25C this time last year, lasting basically all summer of 2010... snapped only by the emergence of hurricane Earl which took the warm waters away. Local Halifax and harbor approaches Weather for Summer 2010. Lets start with the obvious record warmth, after an el-Nino winter and continuing into the Summer months. SST's have reached their "warm swimming phase" 2-3 weeks earlier than usual. We usually aren't able to put our feet in the ocean water without having them frozen to the bone.
