Tropics are quiet today. We will be watching the Western Caribbean/Yucatan area for possible tropical development this weekend into early next week. Most of the global models are showing a broad area of Low Pressure trying to develop down there from the left over energy from TD #12 in the EPAC. While they do show some sort of development, none of them show this potential system impacting the U.S.. Still early in the game with this one so we will watch this region carefully during the next 5 to 7 days. For a more in depth analysis please view the video blog.
