There could be a few isolated pop-up showers or storms today in the central and southern zones. Highs today will be in the upper-80s, with a few southern areas hitting 90. But, it will not be very humid, making it tolerable. Sunday is the day to watch, with a threat of severe storms. There will be a line of storms with an MCS, then we'll see a break in the action, some sun to help destabilize the atmosphere, then a line of strong to severe storms developing. USWN has a 15% hatched tornado risk out in Minnesota today. That's the line of storms will reach our area after daybreak tomorrow, but will not be severe. The severe threat will mainly be with the redevelopment in the afternoon. With the position of the front, I think this could be an area-wide event, and not just south of GR like most events have been. We have 40 knot shear, which is favorable of supercells. By the evening, the severe threat will end, but precip should continue through the night. There could be more pop-up showers or a storm in the afternoon on Monday.
