Welcome to my blog everyone!
What a nice Saturday here (somewhat breezy) in my area.

HURRICANE SEASON

The hurricane season is 41 days away, we have to start thinking about this guys! Especially if you live in ground zero.
The Eastern Pacific is 26 days away…less than a month

NOTE: The listing deadline is July 1st, you still have a lot of time to think about your numbers or change them. Just let me know.

**VERY THANKFUL TO ALL OF YOU... I HAVE BROKEN MY 100-ENTRIES GOAL***

Thanks to all listed. I hope this Atlantic hurricane Season could be one of the many I plan to forecast with your help of course.
The list will be updated again later.

THE BIG LIST…look for yourself
click picture-link for larger view, this picture is pretty big!

NOTE: We must respect what other fellow WU blogger's opinion is regaining to their prediction. Astrometeor, a bud of mine, strongly suggests this.

Hurricane Sandy
It will be half a year soon after that super storm devastated the Greater Antilles and the Northeast coast.
Thus the World Meteorological Organization announced that Sandy was retired and replaced by Sara for the 2018 hurricane season.
Many in the Northeast, eastern Canada and even in the Great Lakes area won't forget this storm in decades. As would I.

NYC Forecast
April 21 - 25, 2013

Now we are back to more seasonal temperatures...yeah, feeling the morning chill and enjoying the rather mild afternoons. This is expected to continue this upcoming week.

The only tweak is the following 2 days, expect some chillier mornings, temps could be around the freezing mark for Coastal CT and NYC... cooler in the interior and warmer to the south.

A wetter week it's expected to be.
check the outlook below,

Main headlines in Dr. Master's Blog this week

-Severe weather breakfront from the Plains to the East Coast; many reports of wind damage, hail and tornadoes. Very heavy rain was also a threat from this particular storm.

the images talk better for themselves

my new tornado map

-Hurricane Forecast
-Climate Change
-Hurricane Sandy...the name retired.

SPECIAL NOTES:

1. Attack at the Boston Marathon… my most sincere condolences to the people who suffered and to the families of those who passed away during those terrible bombings on Monday…May justice shine everywhere!

Congratulations to the Boston Emergency Management, police, BFI SWAT team and residents for their contribution to put this terror to an end. We are not intimidated easily by terrorism!

2. It has been over 4 months after the Newtown Elementary school terror… Im still shocked by how far wicked power can go to.
May all rest in peace.

3. My sincere condolences to the relatives of the 30+ people who lost their lives in the plant explosion in Texas as well...

Such terrifying tragedies this week..my Lord!

_____________

Let Spring spring. Enjoy these times!
Stay clean, don't troll and be nice.

"Life is not about waiting for the storm to pass, it's about learning to dance in the rain"
Nice weather quote I found for you.

Hi Max, yeah, but that dis-agreement was on topic.--about hurricanes, majors, and I repeat, you made the correct points in what you said.

Thanks for the answer Bro! I saw your little argument with Taz in Doc's blog. I think you shut him up though. You made the correct points. Also saw some one post on Doc's blog, I think post # 813, his tropical predictions, but he had such a wide range like ,16-24 storms, I would think one has to be alittle more specific than that--just my opinion.

Well, I can't really ask him (or her) to narrow it down... I'll take whatever they give me, I have to say some of these numbers are insane...like 9 major hurricanes??? (heck!)

yeah, after the Newtown thing this blog changed from being weather to news center..everyone was talking about that. Taz said that this was a weather blog while others pounded him by saying "what the hell is the matter with you???, don't you have feelings, don't you care...screw you"... things like that, many people got banned (including me)... He banned me from his blog and ignored so did I, I tried to contact him (wu-mails were blocked, I couldn't even do that)... trying to fix and forget things, I just ask someone to unblock me from his e-mail box and he did so I apologized early this month...

Now with the Boston thing, I'm just touching the subject a bit but keeping in mind what this whole site is really about. And also trying to re-direct the steering wheel of some bloggers who really go off topic. As far as I can go.

I don't want to become his enemy again.

Hey Max, what's your thoughts on that possible coastal system coming up the coast on Tuesday, ? Do you think it will be strong?

the storm could be moderately strong but looks like the track is enough offshore to only bring a breeze and some sporadic showers...
only one model takes it as a NYC major hit but taken as an outlier at the moment...

Just checked the 12Z GFS, and it doesn't show much of anything at all. In fact it doesn't even show the rain that WCBS radio is calling for Monday night into Tuesday.

Yeah it was really good Max. Funny, when you quoted me, in my first sentence I wrote --pastry, instead of party. But I corrected that right away, yet when you quoted me , about 5 mins. after I wrote AND corrected it, it still had my mistake in your quote. Wonder why your quoting of me wasn't the corrected version, since I corrected it right away, within one minute?

that's because I quoted you back right after I saw the post on the community activity... yep your "pastry" was there...lol

It took me a while to post the comment because I went to the kitchen to grab something, then I came back to hit "post comment"...

Back from the 2cd. pastry, and I did just what you said you do Max, I enjoyed the food/meals! The food all came from The Fairway Market store here in Stamford. It was put on by the son of our friends that were being honored--Birthday&Anniversary combined party. The son works for Fairway--man there was everything I like there, shrimps, meats salads, desserts of all kinds.

oh wow...

Fairway?? They have some great food, especially meats.
Im sure you did lick your fingers at the end...
I wouldn't miss much parties with that kind of awesome meals.

A little secret, I'm a meat lover...
