With the cold front that came through during the end of this week, we are receiving some welcoming rain. And on Friday we also had some pea-sized hail in front of a rain cloud..not much but enough to be bouncing all over the place, and to remind me that I better harvest the remaining chilies and worry about the dill plants.
The parsley is safe and have been living on the kitchen counter for weeks. The sage is hearty in cold and snow, but thinking maybe they need to go in the shed to winter.
I sure wish I had more window sill space...

Woke up this morning Dec 5th to our first snow fall of winter. Not much accumulation, maybe 1/4 inch in places, certainly a slush on the car to greet me for the morning drive to work. Later turning to sleet, nothing of it remaining after a few hours. But the cold remained. brrrr...
Fortunately the plants had been protected last night, and now the parsley is staying in the kitchen for while. Chilies and sage don't mind it, yet.
