	Kinda nice weather

Well here we are in July, and highs in the 80s or so, lows in the 60's. Man this is great. I think we have the sun spots and the recent Russian, and Alaskan volcano's erruptions to thank for this mild weather so far. We need more rain, but I can water the grass all summer if it never gets much warmer!!

	A peak at summer

Well I think summer weather is peaking in on us again. We had a very nice weekend, and the last two weeks with highs in the mid 70s is my dream weather. The gully washer we had the Friday before last and the monsoon we had last Saturday were nice to water the plants we just planted out front. Let's hope the summer doesn't get too hot, but the season memberships for Water Country USA might come in handy!

	Love this cooler weather!

Well this week started off spring-like. Highs in the 60-70's, but we're due to get back into the mid 80's by the weekend. Where do I have to move to get a longer spring?

	Come on! Rain already!!

The smoke is supposed to work back into the area tonight from the Dismal swamp fire and from the NC fires. Hopefully we will get some rain to help the firefighters with them. I really hope we get some rain soon for our local farmers and our own little crop. My wife and I got our tomatos planted late, but the plants look healthy and I hope to be able to keep them happy with the watering. Nothing beats a good soaking rain though.

I looked at the temperature and heat index values for tonight and further into the week, and strange things are showing up. Through 7 PMMostly clear. Highs in the upper 90s. East winds 5 to 10 mph.
