Embudo Canyon Weather Station

Upgraded the weather station software this weekend and had some problems with the forecast icons. This should now be corrected. Still trying to determine why the yearly rain and expected rain to data calculations are now messed up.

Weather Station is back online

Reinstalled the weather station about 6 pm on Wednesday. Looks like it is updating the Weather Underground site and the weather station web page at http://home.comcast.net/~skshowa/weather/usa.htm

Comcast HTML update

You may have noticed that the camera and weather data on the Live Neighborhood Weather site are not updating in real time. I believe this is a result of the Comcast home page upgrade process. They have frozen all web pages as they switch the pages over to a new server. Should be fixed later this week. Data is getting through properly to WUnderground so it is not a server or a connection issue on my side.

Daylight Savings Time

For some reason the server does not want to acknowledge Daylight Savings time (can't say that I blame it). No other XP computer that I have logged onto today has had even a minor hiccup in changing to the correct time, so I am still investigating. I have changed it manually multiple times and changed the time server it is using to verify but the time on the server (and the Live Neighborhood Website) continues to be 1 hr off. At least we don't live in Brazil or Is...
