A Few Reminders About Blogging
By: sensitivethug, 5:33 PM GMT on July 19, 2013
When blogging is busier, so are admin and site moderators. It's always protocol to stay on-topic when commenting on featured WunderBlogs. And, this becomes even more critical when blogs are being posted more frequently, especially during severe weather that generates a higher volume of discussion. With hurricane season about to ramp up, we expect a major increase in traffic on blogs over the next few months. To help steer conversations in the right direction, here are a few reminders:
- If you encounter blogging activity that is in violation of the Community Standards, please utilize the comment flagging system.
- Featured blogs are intended for weather-related discussion only. You can review the rules for conduct on Jeff Master's blog here.
- For support issues, the best way to get help is to visit our support center at http://help.wunderground.com/. Click the "Contact Support" button, located on the upper right-hand side of the page, and fill out the form. Someone from our support team will contact you.
- To leave site feedback or suggestions, click the "Feedback" button located at the bottom of every page on Wunderground (make sure you're signed into your WU account first).
We work hard to moderate blogs effectively while keeping up with higher volumes of activity so that you can enjoy more uninterrupted weather conversation.
If you have feedback about moderation, feel free to comment here or send a message to WunderBlogAdmin. And, please keep those types of comments on this blog, rather than on Dr. Master's or other featured blogs. Thank you.
