Sept 21, 2012: I am officially "retired" and so happy happy happy!!!!
My team gave me a little receiption with cake, fruit, drinks, a giant card signed by all, a dozen roses, balloons, and a really nice Amex Gift Card what I was able to us to buy 6 really large canvas. They wanted to help me out on my new journey of being a Professional ARtist.
I loaded a picture one of my employees took of me at my desk yesterday with my roses, I got it from his FB wall and loaded it here thru WU so everyone should be able to see it.
I am so happy it is scary!!!!!
Sept 6, 2012: I cannot believe it is already September; where did this year go? Time goes by so fast.
And what happened to that "below average" year for tropical systems? That has been a bust so far with 2 hurricanes in the Atlantic and the reminants of Isaac in the GOM making an encore performance in Florida.
We will see what the next 2 1/2 months hold.

I found out, these maps are measuring fire hazard and soil moisture, not necessary drought according to rainfall.

Sept 8, 2012, my new short "DO", I can do so much with it. All same length, no layers, but very short!
Back in 2001, daughter was working for Morgan Stanley and went back & forth to NYC to help with training in the World Trade Center. She sent us this post card showing us where her office was "me". She had airline tickets on her desk to return on Tue 9/17/01 exactly a week after 9/11. It still makes me have chills to just think she could have just as easily been there that Tuesday.
July 2012. As student of the year last June part of the package was professional photos. This is one of hers.
July 2012; finally my scanner started working again and we could scan 2 photos of Rylee taken last July.
Fri Sept 20, 2012: my last "full" day at work. My team gave me a dozen red & white roses, balloons, giant card, really nice Amex Gift Cards, cake, fruit tray, a party. I will miss them so much.Since I had already "cleaned up my desk" it looks so empty.
Sept 26, 2012: Teagan is all giggles now they have his feeding all straightened out. That shirt "I am kind of a Big Deal" was Baron's who wore it at 9 mos old. Teagan is 11 wks and it fits him! He is so cute.
