got mail caught up.

Hey hurigo, got your mail also, didn't send another one since yours was just a reply to my original one...

Bug, I did all of the defragging, virus protection etc...My son told me my computer is one of the cleanest ones he has ever seen, I don't really keep a lot of stuff on it..I still have 81% of room left (only used 19% of my storage space or whatever it is called)...It's not the computer it is comcast..When it runs it runs very good but doesn't do that much anymore, especially since Wilma..I think Comcast had a lot of damage from Wilma and they still haven't gotten everything back up properly...but they really don't seem to care when you call them; no sense of urgency to fix problems...they just say, sorry we will issue credit to your account for today!

Gamma... geez, we've been extremely happy with DirecTV..ok, admittedly it does go out when it rains very hard.. so perhaps I should wait until we go through a full rainy season

bills, getting rid of Comcast internet just as soon as my new server is set up; should get BS DSL the first week of Feb....ordered it monday

We have threatened to get rid of their cable TV also but were afraid of direct Tv or dish...some of our neighbors were not that happy with that either...but at this point..
you know how many times we have to put up the rabit ears to watch tv when comcast cable is out!!!

let's see if this one goes.

I bait my own hooks too. Chicken livers and worms. It's so nice to go. And where I grew up there's no shortage of stocked ponds to fish in!

I dont' eat them, though. Don't care for fish, shellfish, etc. I DO like the Zen of fishing!
And, yes, I bait my own hooks! Nothing like dried worm gunk on your fingers! LOL

Sneaking a peek, in the last 5 minutes before I clock out!

Bills- it's right in line with catfish & tilapia. I DO NOT like salt water fish. If you like catfish & such, you'd LOVE bream. I don't eat it a lot b/c they're smaller fish & there's bones & I'm lazy. I prefer fillets. I do like scallops and shrimp- but that's as saltwater as I go.

Gamma... so your cable TV is out too? I got rid of Comcast months ago and we have DirecTV... it is so much cheaper than cable and so much more of a selection. We pay the $5 extra so we can get all of our local stations too.

Mandy... it must be nice and light, not fishy? I love catfish and tilapia is good too, I'd probably like Bream. never heard of it though. What I don't care for is dolphin and some of the other salt water fish..

Hi Gamma! My fingers are crossed for you.

Bream (pronouced BRIM) is a small type of fish that's ABUNDANT here in north florida. It's really good. Whenever we went fishing we always caught catfish & bream.

what is Bream? I miss fish from up North.. perch, pickerel..
I've only had it once or twice but I remember turtle being very good.
(my father was an avid hunter-fisherman.. duck, squirrel, muskrat, you name it, made its' way to our dinner table.)
(most of it was yuck according to me)

Bills- it's amazing how quickly they get their butt in gear when an attorney gets involved. Double payout maybe? Pain & suffering? ;-) (Don't we wish?)

Some animals weren't meant to be kept in captivity. I had 2 turtles that lived for about a month. Elphonso & Nemo. They were cute babies- but it wasn't meant to be. That's why I stick with warm blooded mammals.

Awww... wab! That's so sad. The hubby teases me about being so concerned with him, but he loves him just as much. We're not posed to have animals at our apartment, but I had to have SOMETHING fuzzy to snuggle. He's got such a personality on him- we love him to pieces, even though he's a pain in the butt.
