Picture the childhood. Winter-tale of memories, when we were kids and the playground was throughout.
This old Penobscot, Maine home, circa early 1800s, looks very nice and wintery with the sun shining on it, and the snow surrounding it early this afternoon.
The color of this barn attracted me to it , thought the red looked nice in the snow.
Yosemite National Park, Merced Grove of Big Trees 1/6/07 cabin
Cold (0 F/-18 C) and windy (50 mph/80 kph)in the Oregon Cascades today, with a 150 inch (3.84 meter) snowpack. Many lifts were closed, but we saw no other skiers on this cross-country trek.
