In New Mexico back in the early 1990's we had one local climatologist(who passed away soon after), who stated we were to enter into a 50 year drought, by his calculations. Most including myself scoffed at such a notion, as the preceding decade had seen some of the wettest in history in the Southwest.

Well by some calculations now we are indeed in a period of alternating cycles which predispose to drought since his prediction. The individual years may vary...

Academia AGW acceptance

The preponderance of AGW scientific evidence is quite obvious and undeniable. The question now becomes why the inaction.

I will background a bit for qualification. I was one of those at a early age rejected by academia. I found myself totally unable to memorize materials and then regurgitate it to provide a grade. It was not that I could not do so but found myself unable to do so.

This is a bit tongue in cheek, but I wanted to list some things weather forecasters and stations do, which tend to irritate me and perhaps some others. You may care to add some of your own to this list or counter my observations. My list is in order of priority of most irritating :).
