been watching the forecasts for this area of the carib for the 2013 season. today it is unbelievably hot, not a single breeze. usually this means rain is on its way. looking at the blob just off the tip of the yucatan. any chance this will swing south west. not looking forward to bad weather but some rain would be very welcomed. most folks with rain supplied cisterns are at the bottom of the tank at the moment here on Roatan.

Good afternoon Ms RoatanGardener...

Good to see you. I wish I could export some of our rain to you... in fact I have a sneaking suspicion this IS your rain that somehow got displaced up here. Hopefully you will get some soon.

I think Levi was in/around that El Reno tornado that killed three members of a chase team Friday night. He was lucky.

As much as I hate hurricanes, we do have advance notice to prepare. With tornados, it's ~~~BOOM~~~ ; they hit and they're gone. People don't always have time to take shelter.

Hello, Gardener!

With you popping up, it must be that time of year, right?

Let's cross our fingers and hope for good weather and calm seas!

haha. exactly, our weather is not much to talk about most of the year until hurricane season. been reading levi's notes on this season and the western carib. looks like we will be wetter than usual for the next month or so. been a drought here since march so a few good tropical showers would be welcomed.

hope this season doesn't cause anyone anywhere weather related problems.
