TUESDAY'S QUESTION OF THE DAY

Well, I went to work this morning donning jacket and my red white and green beanie and the song on the radio playing was my favorite Christmas tune, "Do They Know It's Christmas?" Add to that the e-mail shown below that Becky sent to me and oh yes, it's Christmas, houses are lit, the malls are packed and a feeling of peace and love shines through even an already stressed out Tuesday and that simple enough leads to the QOD:

What is your favorite Christmas song?

You have to love the spineless that cannot show who they really are when they bash someone, this time of year allows for us to embrace everyone even the idiotic, the yellow bellied , and the rude
Although there are some that are so brain cell challenged that they do not know that some blog sites allow the owner of the site to know the email of the poster to that blog, there is a place for all of them among us

Hi everyone,

I posted on Bug's blog a lot of my fav Christmas Songs... so only posted one here.

I heard that about California making Caffeine a poison with warning labels... me and the kids were laughting at that on the news today! Only in wacky Californai... hey we are wacky here in Florida also but still have a way to go before catching up with our Ca cousins! LOL

got to get back to my painting project....last layer should be dry by now.

I am painting a picture that will be used as a "signing" board for the baby shower Sat but also matches the decor of his nursey... Haven't painted in a while...but so far so good! Every now and then it is fun for my "artist" side to come out!

psst gypsy...for the homeowner and this product...i try for 50 points...LOLOL...and in all fairness....from the front side..it sounds extreme....but..it's a 2000 dollar transaction...it will take me 1 hour..and usually if a homeoner is involved....my salesman will have to make a site visit....figure 2 hours..it will take one of our vp's...who checks all these orders and then places them an hour plus another hour for his secretary...you've got a production plant that equals 2 men and two hours..and you've a driver to deliver it...so..that 1000 bucks of profit...gets eaten up quick..

38 - that's pretty good I have to admit. That poor customer. So what is the difference in price in an impact resistant and non-impact resistant door?

One only impacts your wallet the other takes your kids college fund, your retirement and requires a second mortgage on your home and if you dont pay you see guido with a baseball bat:))

AHEM!!!!!!!!!........first of all miss saddle smarty pants......no order goes out without approval from credit....secondly...i when it comes down to brass tacks....completed this transaction with a 38 point GPM...fantastic under any business climate...a mircale with the market as it is presently....now...why is it..that credit..approves the account...approves the order..and then..comes down on the sales department..as if it is our fault..when the customer doesn't pay???????,,,LMAO

oh..and i just had my christmas spirit dashed!!!!! i had a ticket...that changed from a non impact rated door to an impact rated door....and..since the customer had already submitted the bid...i changed things..and allowed concessions to not alter the price so we would still get the contract.....now to do this..i lowered margins in all the depts.....credit...who knows her job forwards and backwards.....has a legal degree....and is meaner than snot when she wants to be...called me to her office about it as for some reason..the customer since it's time to pay his bill...is confused..of course the customer..probably wants to delay payment...and is using any excuse at his disposal...well...credit..who only wants the bill paid...ripped me a new one.....seeing that she has to be nice to the customer and so...i'm the whipping boy of the day...which....after doing this for 26 years is nohing new....water off a ducks back..but then....credit...referring to my boss....who was snide with her....told me "tell miss priss..that if he comes to my office with that attitude again...i'll take him outside"...LMAO.....let me tell you...it's tough to look peinitant..when you're trying not to bust out laughing
