I rub them with a mixture of garlic, salt, pepper, lemon juice, and liquid smoke then slow cook em in the oven inside deep baking pans (on top of racks inside the pans with water in the bottom and foil covering)at 250 degrees for 4 hours. After they've steamed, then i char them on the grill with sweet baby rays bbq sauce. They are falling off the bone and delicious!!

Have a Happy Sane and Safe 4th of July ric and family!

myspace layouts, myspace codes, glitter graphics

I learned how to do ribs from my BIL. He simmers them all day in tomato sauce.....than slaps them on the grill to 'char' them up with a mighty tasty BBQ sauce. Not sure what kind he uses.

We have two places here that make top notch ribs (my favorites!). Naples Rib Company and Claim Jumper.

Here is my way, I never put ribs in water. Yes if they are boiled they are tender, but flavor is gone.

Dry rub, and remove any membrane before the rub, let set for at least 2 hours.

Rub them, Then smoke them with real charcoal, not the stuff that has glue. Kingford be danged, buy the real wood.

I use a very cheap Brinkmann smoker and have VERY good results.

I was going to tell you all about it, and then I read Scarlett's method and the keyboard slipped off my lap from all the incessant drooling.

Hi Ric ..
We put them in a big pot, season with salt and pepper, cover and simmer for a couple of hours. Then, put them on the grill with some Sonny's bbq sauce (get the big bottle at Sam's).

They will be so tender, they just fall off the bone almost! don't forget the napkins ... LOL

Also, do our corn on the cob and veggies on the grill ... now I'm hungry ... LOL
