Too funny, I now have to post a category for my blog? I picked blizzard.

It's been awhile as life is keeping me busy. I work for LSR, I work for free at Jessica's and a friend and myself are putting toether our own business. Not sure if we'll succeed or fall flat on our faces but I can at least say we tried.

We took a little trip and needed a rental car and since prices were the same for a full size car as economy we went for the full size. Well at pickup they informed us they didn't have any but we could drive off in a new Charger if we so desired. Jessica's eyes lit up as we said sure and when they drove this red baby past the front door she look at me and said, "I'll drive." We liked it so much we bought one as soon as we got back home. Let me rephrase that, Jessica has a new ride and yes, it's red. I still drive a van. LMAO

I did notice under those categories there is a political designation. No more of the "purists" scathing comments these discussions don't belong on a weather blog. The great Yakuza has placed his blessing on them. Now if we could just get a few decent political blogs, the doom and gloomers that never seem to get it right, the article cut and pasters who paste one thing today and something that contradicts half of what was said in that article two days later by another writer. I mean, I don't agree with Rudd, but at least the man has some smarts to him. Give me someone who has some conviction and some smarts to actually write on the subject and whether I agree or not at least I'll respect them.

Excuse me whilst I put away my soapbox.

So I got an e-mail the other day. Thank you ma'am for not needing to post on my blog, "you have mail." The emai-mail dropped me on the floor laughing, let me show you:

Now there was a time I would have been all fired up to think there are still some here that love those letter campaigns telling who you should like and who you should not. Not today. I'm happy in my life, I'm happy in who I am and I have all that I need and am going after those few things I don't have. In other words, I don't care and it leads to the Song of the Day of which I have a few.

Got a little court date this morning...waiting to be called in....think i need a little rocky music, because he was the theatrical embodiment of it's not how many times you get knocked down...it's how many times you get up!...knock me down today...i'll be back tomorrow...and the next..and the freaking next....

Monday's Song of the Day

Today our country celebrates her 235th birthday. many will celebrate with picnics, family and fireworks. Some will work, some will wish they were working and some will consider that this day has no more significance than yesterday or tomorrow. They all, though totally different will share one commonality and that is, they are all American. many American's today will tell you why America is great, while just as many will disagree with the speaker and in the end both parties will think they are right. That is what makes America the beautiful lady that she is, the right to think differently and the freedom to express it. That's why our country has withstood inner and foriegn attacks that have crippled other countries, because to a person we hold the fact that we can think differently and no one can take that away from us. The pimple on America's butt is those little dictators that don't say, "I disagree with the way you think," but instead say, "you are bad because you don't agree with me." However, today is a day to focus on America's shining face and realize that we all are a part of it.

Sunday's Song of the Day

Happiness is when you wake up in the morning and your head is in a funk and you realize that it's all in your head. Your life is not in a funk and in fact your life is better than it has been in a very long time. So all I have to say is bring on the funk, cus it's funky Sunday. Funky is a state of mind and I know what state mine is, do you?

Saturday's Song of the Day

Ahh, it's Saturday the start of a long weekend for many and a really long weekend for others. Heck, it's a long weekend here as I now work for free with Jessica, who for some reason decided we didn't need to take Monday off. She is scheduled to see 49 patients over the next three days and I get the joy of billing and playing receptionist. Yes I look very good in a skirt. So while you're sitting out in the backyard hoisting a cold one, please hoist a few for those of us who are working for a living.

Friday's Song of the Day

A few weeks ago Randy "The Macho Man" Savage died in a car wreck. I didn't say anything about it as I figured here was another case of a star gone bad, drunk or drugs and I don't have any respect for that. So I was surprised this morning to read that he died of a heart condition and the only drugs in his system were prescribed and alcohol was not a factor. I did enjoy his theatrics back in the '80's and had always heard he was a class act and so yes, I'm sorry to see him gone and my condolences go out to his fans, friends and family. So I was considering making Pomp and Circumstances, which was his theme song the SOD, but I found this tribute peace that I like much better. Enjoy.
