The nick, redagain is short for the words - "Redwoods again". It stands for a goal to sleep again in a tent under the Redwood Trees in northern Ca.

Patti do you think you could meet Laurie Welcome on Grand Cayman. She has become a real good FB friend. I think Bug would like her too. Oh there is a guy named Heavysnow (WU) Danny Farkas on FB that would love to have Bug come stay with his family next and he will take her to the White House.
Hope you have a fantastic trip.
Cool.. but when does Farkas need OtherBug?
Wonder if Laurie knows anything about Geocaching? :)

That means we have to wait in line to get on little bitty boats... and must allow for time to get back on..
I guess I will hang pretty close to the dock if I can not get off early... much depends on the time the ships starts the boats up.
Ask your friend if she knows where they unload and such.. and see if she is interested..
Danny doesn't need her anytime soon so she will be fine with you. It just might be a fun place for her to go next.
I will ask Laurie. You might want to friend her on FB so you two could keep in touch. I will tell her to watch for your friend request. Her name is Laurie Welcome and she works in the Post Office on Grand Cayman.
Oh cool!!! The post office... something more to find! LOL .. some in our party will want to mail a few post cards.
Just sent a message to Laurie on FB. She is looking forward to your friend request. She said she would be working on the Wed the 19th but you two can work something out.
we have connected ... she is at work that day but I know about where she works.. I just found out that the kids in my group are wanting to do dive and swimming with rays. Not my cup ...done that.
Patti you will love Laurie. So glad you two connected. Your trip sounds great. Have lots of fun and take lots of pictures.
I see you are on another travel adventure.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year
OB was on Cayman Brac a while back, with Crab and Da Bride. Hope ya'll waved as you went by!
OB might go visit HeavySnow?! Cool!
Work has been extremely chaotic and I've been kinda cutting my lunch breaks short, so not much internet time from work. I also think my B12 levels have gotten low again. I've been nodding off in my chair almost nightly for weeks, so not much internet time at home, either. Got a new bottle of B12 yesterday so will see how I do.
May the spirit of Christmas bring you peace,
The gladness of Christmas give you hope,
The warmth of Christmas grant you love.

We spend January 1 walking through our lives, room by room, drawing up a list of work to be done, cracks to be patched. Maybe this year, to balance the list, we ought to walk through the rooms of our lives... not looking for flaws, but for potential.

Wishing you and yours a happy, healthy and prosperous New Year!
Happy New Year to you and your Mom. I hope it's a good one for you!
Patti, I think you should contact Gams because I know for sure she and Stacey will be at the breakfast and you can mail Bug to her.
Ogal/Sarah told me you need to mail me "other bug" so I will send you mail with my address.
I was wondering where Bug had taken off to. I just have not been around WU that much in the past few m onths.
Check your mail!

I've been over I80 from Reno to Sacramento and it will close in the winter. With those elevations they can get severe blizzards that will just shut down the highway. They get the snow plows out, but sometimes even they can't see anything - like a whiteout.
If you had a chance, you could of stopped at the Donner Memorial State Park, which is at the top of the highway. It is a little bit of a drive off the highway, but we've been there a couple of times. Here is a link to the state site if you are ever interested in reading about the Donner Party.
Aren't the redwoods just amazing? I love the pictures you took with the cars in front of them,, really helps to put a perspective on their size. What beach did you stop at? Loved the pictures!
Then your cruise! Wow! The size of that ship!!! HUGE! I don't think I've ever seen one that big!
OB sure has been around. I wish I had made myself flat too! I have missed out on so much travel!
Thanks for chronically all this. It was an amazing journey!
Thanks for popping in and giving me feedback on the blogs. Yea, I really find my Mom something else... I just tag along and help when I can with different stuff.
I found the gates they have on the ramps up and onto the highway very interesting. I understood what they were for but my southern mind found it hard to think of how cold with the deep snow, that area can get. And if it is NOT snow, it is high winds with dust. I loved the little wind socks they had on some of the bridges out there to warn you of the wind.
The beach we went to was at the Thomas H. Kuchel Visitor Center on US Highway 101 at Orick, California. It is the same one my kids and I went to back in the early 1990's
Thanks for reading and commenting on the blogs and photos.
I have another trip coming up very soon and hope again to post about it.
