Rock 105.3 fm

It has been a long time since my first post here and for that i apologize. Life has a way of getting in the way. Well perhaps not really getting the way but more like it steers you in other directions.

Heck, sometimes i log on to Facebook and have to do several other things at the same time. By the time i get back to Facebook, several friends and family have sent me multiple messages wondering why i won't answer.

That's just the way it is. Rush Rush Rush. In the meantime i do keep up with the weather and have been running a webcam here on Wunderground as well as Ustream.tv Link and a mobile cam Link

Currently the mobile cam has not been very active as i need to buy a good mobile phone mount for the dash. The first cam noted as Rock 105.3 our low power fm station is pr-e-recorded video from our DVR which is a part of a security camera system located around our home and consists of 4 weather proof camera's.

After recording a few hours of video i them stream that video over Ustream.tv. It works out pretty well.

So far this Winter in Kentucky (2013) has been fairly mild in comparison to Winter of 2011 and 2010 where we had record snow falls and bone chilling temperatures in the double and single digits. Although the Northern section of Kentucky has had a few weeks of heavy snow that nearly crippled big cities like Lexington and Louisville. The South Central and Eastern sections of the state received less than half of the snow seen up North. It has been an unusual season for snow here.

Age and Weather

How is it possible to go from being a Summer person to more of a Winter person just by aging?Maybe it has nothing to do with age, perhaps it is easier to get warmed up if your cold than what it is to cool down if your too hot. London has been in the mid-80 temperature wise and for once in my life I can't stand it. Sure I love the sun and warm temperatures but I get uncomfortable when the temperature is above 68 degrees.
