White Rooftops on the Prairie

By: plapman , 12:34 PM GMT on May 09, 2009

Today will see the flurries ending this morning then cloudy with a 30% chance of rain showers. A high of 6C(43F) is forecast.
Tonight will rmain cloudy as the 30% chance of showers early this evening continues. There will be clearing overnight with an overnight low of 0C(32F).
The rooftops are covered in snow. What a rude awakeing. It should be all gome by noon I hope.
I'm off to an outdoor wedding today. I think there'll be many cold people there.

Hi Tony,
It's been awhile since I stopped by your blog!
I had to drop in today after I heard that you had some snow out there.....I hope to not see any until Nov or Dec LOL.
It was about +20°C earlier and is now about +15 with a few sprinkles of rain.Rain we don't need, had enough earlier this week. The lawn is getting out of control and it's too wet to mow.

Take care,
Al in NS

Good morning dear ones on the frozen tundra...Jeeze its 6lF here and the sun is breaking through the cloud cover and the fog is clearing. We did get a light sprinkle of rain about 20 min ago but all has moved well north of me now.

I don't envy you the snow but an outdoor venue for a wedding today seems a bit harsh for anyone. Hope they have alternative plans for something indoors. If not then for goodness sake bundle up warm. I can't imagine a frozen bridal party though.

Keep safe, keep warm and most of all have a great day.
