Weekend Search Finds No Trace Of Women © Portageonline.com

Another week of searching has turned up no sign of Amber McFarland or Jennifer Catcheway.
Manitoba Search and Rescue spent the weekend in the field around Portage, and Operations Manager George Leonard says the concentrated on small areas of interest they want to rule out, using canine units and trained searchers.

He won't reveal where those areas are,so they won't be disturbed by groups searching on their own.

Leonard stresses individuals searching on their own isn't a big problem for MSAR, but they're not trained in search techniques, and could miss something.

He adds this week will see similar search efforts as last week.

Abby got stuck in the snow again yesterday but she did get to give a bunny chase. She'll never catch one in the snow for sure.

Good morning Tony. Looks like Abby is having alot of fun. You know Tony, chances are any clues to the whereabouts of these missing girls are in someone's home. Someone does know what has happened to these two.
