Retired and loving it. If I'd have known about retirement befor I started my 40 year career with the government of Manitoba I'd have retired first. :)

Today will be sunny with a southwesterly wind at 20 km/h this morning. A high of 32 (90f) is forecast. The Uv index will be 6 or high. Tonight will remain clear with the wind becoming light this evening. The wind will change to northerly overnight at 30 gusting to 60 overnight. An overnight low of 8 (46f) is expected.
The strong northerly flows will make the heat wave short lived as the air passes over 200 miles of ice. The high for tomorrow is only expected to reach 17 (63f).
Yesterdays unofficial high was 29 (84f) and the overnight low was 14.5 (58f).
I heard on the radio today was Lost Sock Day. A memorial day to honor all the lost socks. Where do they go? lol
Buck the dog played himself out last night on our walk. He gave chase to a bunny, giving up after only about a 1/4 mile then walking back to me. I thought I was going to have to carry him home he looked so beat.
2 months ago that dog would chase that bunny for a mile before running back to me barely panting.
