Missing tree

has anyone noticed that one of the tall trees in the background of the view from my basement window is missing?
The last thunderstorm brought one of them down on a neighbors house and across a power line.
I never noticed until a neighbor across the road told me. Those tall trees would need a long open stretch to come down safely.

Is that you or your neighbor mowing the lawn across the driveway? Try to stay cool!

Oh, and they say that if you put bison on the prairie, the grass will grow back better, so maybe you could use one in your back yard! :' )

Was it one of those skinny pines in the middle? Those trees grow fast, but the first strong wind, and over they go!

Hope you all are doing well!

Oh it is always sad to have a tree go. They are such wonderful parts of a neighborhood.
So, hows the walks with Abbey? Looks like the rain is still off and on in your area.
