I made a visit to my doctor yesterday and received good news. The neck problems are not blocking and major arteries to the brain but arteritis has set in. I guess I'm like I told the Queen, a walking pile of human junk parts.:)
I just wish my other hearing aid would come back and maybe the whistling would least quiet down.

Good Afternoon Tony!

So glad to learn about the good news you received by your doctor regarding the mostly unobstructive arterial flow to your neck! I'm sure the days leading up to it were anxious ones. Your not alone when it comes to feeling the further degenerative effects caused by one's advancing age or from medical conditions. Many of us here can testify to that! Once ordinary chores or situations begin to feel incresingly daunting. I guess we just have to take one day at a time and make the most of what we've still got while we can.

Yesterday, we survived quite a few strong wind gusts with slight rain. For once, Mother Nature worked in our favor by keeping our power on, home intact and blowing the many still falling leaves out of the yard. Out of sight, out of mind, I say! LOL! We still have quite more to tackle before the end of the month, but presently have a better advantage.

Hope you'll be able to return that defective hearing aid back to Whistler's Mother before too long and finally find some relative peace and quiet with the newer replacement. This isn't how one wants to 'whistle while you work'!

Hey Tony, I tried the baling wire thing and it does not work very well. I find crazy glue does a better job in hold things together but contact cement is better still. LOL Sure is rough going after one hits 60 isn't it? At least once I get my cataracts looked after at the beginning of the New Year, I will only have the old bones to complain about. LOL Anyway dear ones. Hope your keeping warm out on the Prairie. Our cold weather is on the way now that Nov has arrived.

Good morning! Just back from roaming the American prairies for two weeks, and trying to see if I can find where I left my routine.

Don't worry about those junk parts. I saw a whole lot of old trucks that looked vintage 1950 or so on my trip. Some had a little baling wire, and there was plenty of rust, but they still were chugging along. A couple even left me in their dust!
