Happy day to you Tony, glad you don't have the problem I have with my neighbour who I had to call the cops on yesterday. I am tired of him blowing all his lawn clippings and leaves into my driveway then just leaving them there. What a jerk. Sad to say, looks like nothing was done by the cop as the lawn trash is still laying in my drive.I did ask for it to be cleaned up. Going to call city hall tomorrow and see if they can do something about this idiot. Thursday I see the surgeon. Should be an interesting visit.

Anyway with all the stress, no sleep last night so I am off to try to get some now. Have a great Monday and Happy Thanksgiving dear ones.

Have a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend Tony and family. We give thanks for making it this far in 2013 and still kicking the old can around. It sure has been one hell of a year, let's hope the new one will bring us better health.

Thinking of you and yours. Blessings from Ontario.

Hey Tony, miss you around buddy. Been a while, I knew you had said you were having problems with your hearing aids and that you were closing the blog. I found you were back by seeing your post of Ylee's blog. Good to have you back. How is the weather holding up in your area. Raining here today but otherwise we still got to see 73F today, tomorrow will be cooler with temps in the low 60s as this cold front slips through.

Anyway take care of yourself dear ones. Give the Queen a big hug for me. Blessings from SW Ontario.

I think that's the first time I've ever seen the sun in your cam, Tony! It's a black spot, just like Milos!

Hope you're doing well!

Good Morning, Tohy!

Looks rather gloomy and quite chilly (36F degrees)in your La Prairie neighborhood this Saturday morning. It's rather gloomy here in Mass., as well, but thankfully not yet as cold at (59F). The foliated tree scenes, as witnessed from your webcam, look to have accelerated to brown from last week's colorful gold. We're now experiencing traces of brown both on our nearby trees and on the ground. It looks like we'll soon have our hands full in the weeks to come.

Hope you and the Queen are doing well and can take advantage of any better fall weather that heads your way!

Hi Tony!

Thanks for your posting on my site earlier and I'm sure Proserpina appreciates your note of sympathy as well. It's been a hard year for her as well and we've all tried to help and support her during these troubled times.

Thankfully, hubby and I are doing reasonably well right now and he's been fairly active by keeping up with the current fallen leaves and acorns in our yard. We still have a long way to go, as our large oak trees (one out front and one out back) yield weeks of leaves and acorns aplenty! Happily, our power mower's been repaired so hubby's happy to be out and about putting it to the test. We've been enjoying a pleasant warm spell around here also allows us to continue using our outdoor gas grill for more deliciously prepared meals. We'll sure miss it during the much chillier, wintry months to come!

I see your current weather/temps look perfect for a pleasant stroll or other simple outdoor activities despite some overcast skies. It appears your neighborhood's trees have shed a lot in the past week or so, as those golden shades have turned brown and show more bare limbs.

Hope you're doing reasonably well and all those fallen leaves and yard debris don't get the better of either you or the Queen. It becomes an increasing cumbersome chore as we age, I know!!!

New hearing aids? Do tell.

I'm no longer in the hearing aid market. I've taken the plunge and have had cochlear implant surgery.

The first one in June (right side) and the second one last week (left side). Still working on learning how to hear with the first one. Hoping that the second one will give me a leg up.

Second implant will be activated on Oct 15th, so I'll see how it goes.

Hi Tony!

Just checking in with you this first day of October! My how the months seems to be flying by around here! I hope your weather/temperature sticker is off kilter as it states you're presently at the freezing mark of 32F degrees!!!???? If so, that's certainly rushing the seasons up there! Thankfully, October's first week is starting off on a summery warm foot here, which is just the way I like it!!!

Hope you're doing alright, have straightened out the hearing aid debacle and are busy puttering around the home or taking pleasant strolls with Abbey! Check in with us, when able, to let us know how you're doing!

If you hear from Alley, let us know how she's doing, too, as it's been awhile and she's been dealing with some serious health issues and other concerns as well.

Good Morning, Tony!

Nice to see daylight out of your webcam again! LOL! It's surprising that our respective regions are experiencing basically the same temperatures right now, but your area already shows plentiful fall foliage color! Wow, the full yellows and golds of your neighborhood trees must look even more terrific from the basement window or when outside! Well, for me, the longer I can stave off leaf blowing or raking fallen masses of leaves around here, the better! LOL!

Hope you're doing reasonably well right now and your pesky hearing aid debacle has been fixed or settled!

Good Morning, Tony!

The current view through your webcam looks totally dark and forboding! Your weather map also shows a potentially serious t'storm heading through La Prairie right now. I don't think it has anything to do with your darkened webcam or malfunction but by a possible still shade-drawn basement window?

It's incredulous to believe that your current temps of 60.4F are warmer than ours in Mass.! What a difference a day can make to one's respective weather and temps ... eh?

Hope you're making some progress with that hearing aid debacle, for I'm sure you've had enough on your mind as it is. Stay safe!

Morning, Tony! That's a nice, clean radar you've got. We're all covered up with rain, and have been since Thursday. Believe me, we're all happy. Rain without wind always is a good thing down here, and it's especially welcome now that we've been so dry.

Hope all's well. With luck, that snow will stay away for a while.
