Tonight will be clear with a low of 12C(54F).

yesterday I made an appointment with the audiologist to get the hearing aids checked. Everything seems louder now. I don't know if it's me or the hearing aids. There's a pea processing plant about a mile from my home and I can hear it while sitting outside. While walking with Abbey the leaves rustling are really loud. It sure is nice to hear so well but also kind of scary to hear sounds I usually don't hear like my runners on the pavement and Abbey walking through the grass on our walks.

Shore, I got the news a couple of weeks ago that I have to have cataract surgery on both eyes and I see the specialist in Oct. Before then I will have a talk with my GP to make sure of anything I need to know regarding my diabetes and how eye surgery will be affected by it. Glad the drops are helping to control your glaucoma.

Isn't that amazing? My eyes are going, but my hearing's great. I guess it's good that I'm not breaking down everywhere all at once! Actually, my eyes are pretty much stabilized now, with my glaucoma drops, but I'm very much aware that the day will come when at minimum I'll need cataract surgery.

Can you hear my keyboard clicking? No? That's probably good!

One good thing about hearing aids, you take them out at night otherwise you would get no sleep from listening to the Queen's snoring...ROFLMBO...she is going to kill me for that one...

Glad to hear your hearing is so improved. Waiting for my new glasses, then damn I will be able to see fly dung on the walls....heee heee heee. Have a great evening dear ones.

Good Morning, Tony!

I thought that most hearing aids came with a volume control so one could adjust the loudness to your liking or to tune out any aggravating sources. Hope that you'll soon be able to either adapt or have them adjusted to a more comfortable volume level.

Your earlier post left on my blogsite suggests that the Queen knows how to put you to good use while also keeping you well occupied throughout the day. LOL! It's nice to feel needed or useful at home doesn't it? LOL! My hubby's the same way. He's constantly looking for simple projects or housework to do to keep from getting bored out of his gourd and out of my hair. Naturally, I support any and all of his efforts to help in and around the house as long as it doesn't end up creating more work for me alone. LOL!

Looks like our current weather is showing great signs of improvement! Nice to have all the heavy-duty humidity finally leave so we can finally wring ourselves out. I'll certainly miss these very warm drier days of summer for they flee to fast. This Friday, our overnight temps could reach as low as 45F! Talk about a nasty taste of early winter. This is way too harsh and jolting for me! Hope this is just a brief anomalie and our temps will return to a more usual normal.

P.S. Sounds like you've got the timing and skills for perfectly done laundry down pat!

Extra hearing is a good thing, like in case the Queen is sneaking up on you from behind, holding a skillet! ;' )

I do hope your hearing is improving, instead of the hearing aids glitching out! Have a good day!
