Today will be mainly cloudy with a south wind at
20 km/h becoming light this afternoon. The high will be -12 with a wind chill of -30C this morning. Tonight will be mainly cloudy with an overnight low of -17C.
I finally got Abbey out for a short walk yesterday.
I think I'll close the northern edge until further notice.

WE understand Tony. Enjoy your time away from blogging for a bit. I know I am happy to become a lurker for a while.

Hi Plap and Alley!

I totally understand each of your decisions to bow out of blogging for awhile. Winter weather, age and/or circumstances are catching up to many right now and it's sometimes necessary to take time out for needed rest and relaxation. Hope you and yours are doing alright and that both you and Alley will be able to find the time to check in here once in awhile. Seems our WU blogging buddies are dwindling from the scene. Hope it's only temporary, as I've never been inclined to join the "Facebook" crowd.

Stay safe, warm and well until the next time!!

Hurrah, its a wet 43F at the moment and the snow is finally starting to melt. Boy it will be nice to see it gone. Two more days of warm temps then yes, the cold will come back but not as bad as it has been. It's been raining off and on so that is helping to get rid of this white stuff on the ground but oh is it soggy out there. A good day to remain indoors if one can. Time to call in my prescription renewals. Forgot all about the buggers until I saw what time it was. Catch ya later.

Hope you are having a good rest.

PS...just found your note on my Dec post...Looking forward to the story...BIG HUGS

Our snow is all gone, temps are going up to the low 50s today, a bit warmer tomorrow. Day started out foggy, now its just rain for today and tomorrow. Thursday will be fun, the cold returns with temps in the 20s and snow again. Don't ya just love our lovely winter weather...LOL It is really a dark and dreary day out, a good day for napping if one has the time. Kitties will have to put on their rain gear this morning to come and eat. LOL

Anyway dear one, hope you have a good day. Time for me to take my diabetic meds now. Catch ya later.

He's here! He's there! He's everywhere!

Glad to see some signs of life from you, Tony. I was going to stop by just with a hello, but it sure is nice to see your post.

I suppose it wouldn't be nice to tell you I'm sitting here with my windows wide open. Gosh, is it blowing, though. I have a feeling in about another 2-3 hours it's going to be window-shutting time at the OK Corral. There's a front on the way, and we're just hoping it brings some rain.

I had quite an experience - and a new one, too! - yesterday. I saw one of those drones people always are talking about. I''ve not quite figured out what kind it was - it took me a while to sort out that it really was a drone. If I can find some information about them, I may post it. Unfortunately, the authorities are pretty closed-mouth about these things. I discovered you can't just call up the police and ask, "Say, that wasn't your drone that was out and about yesterday by any chance?" LOL

Good morning Tony, when I got up this morning it was 61F here. Crazy weather, temps are going to drop this evening and once again we will be in a freeze mode with daytime highs in the high 20s with winds around 30 mph. Going to be a bloody cold next few days after this.

Have a safe and fun day. Stay warm...
