Abbey and me ventured out into the cold yesterday and took a walk along the gopher trails. I donned the old work ski doo suit and came home toasty warm.
poor Abbey ran along the shoulder of the road nd stopped occasionally looking out a the fields she loves to run in but stayed away from the snow filled ditches. Smart dog!
On our way home I saw somebody lying beside the road, he later got up and walked few steps then fell again. When we met i asked if he was OK and he said he had just slipped. I think the young man, maybe 16 or 17, was either drunk or on drugs. I stopped and kept n eye on him until he turned off the road we were on. If he'd have fallen into the deep ditch and got stuck in the snow it could have been serious as the lower part of the ditch can't be seen from the road. It's the same ditch the vehicle was stuck in a few weeks or so ago and has a steep 1:1 slope.

Good morning Tony. Too bad about the kid. Would have been wise if you had your cell phone to call the police to pick him up just in case he was having a medical emergency and was too stupid to realize it. You know kids today. Who knows if he made it home safe.

Sunny cool weather here today with temps in the mid to high 30s, tomorrow back into the 40s with more sunshine. Sure nice to see it again after 3 weeks of dreary weather.

Glad you were warm on your walk. We do need to bundle up more as we age. Yes we do feel the cold alot more.

Anyway dear one, have a great day.
