Today will be cloudy with a 30% chance of flurries late this morning and early this afternoon then clearing this afternoon. The high will be - 5C(23F)
. Tonight will be clear with a low of -14C(7F)

Yesterday on our walk poor Abbey almost got stuck in the ditch. As soon as I cut her loose from the leasch she tried to run for the gopher trails but sunk to her belly in the soft snow in the ditch. It's a good thing her 4 wheel drive got her out. I don't know how I'd get her out of the 4 feet of soft snow in the ditch.
Abbey wasn't the only one who ended up in the ditch.

This fellow will need more that 4 wheel drive to freel his car.

Good afternoon Tony. Always out for an adventure I see. Be careful out there when tramping through the deep snow. Getting stuck in a drift is only a minor problem for you. Carry a little plastic shovel attached to your belt just in case. A lot cooler here today with enough of a breeze to make it uncomfortable to go too far. We did not see frost last night but I am sure to be waking up soon with the ground covered by Jack Frost. No sun again today...so my mood reflects it. Kinda down from lack of seeing bright skies for the past 2.5 weeks. Anyway, have a safe afternoon, stay out of mischief and keep warm. Member Since: April 18, 2007 Posts: 185 Comments: 29166
