Moving Snow On The Prairie

Today will bring periods of light snow ending this morning then clearing with 2 cm (3/4 inch) in the lee of lake Manitoba. The wind will be northwest at 30 km/h gusting to 50. Today's high will be -6(c21F).
Tonight will be clear with a low of -13C(9F).

Yesterday after clearing a foot of snow from the driveway I almost completed the medal project. Today I just have to mount them on the wooden plaque and they'll be ready for display.
The snow blower worked flawlessly. Even though the driveway is clear of snow but the city has yet to plow the streets so the Queen and me are still stuck at home. The only traffic on our street are the 4x4s which are leaving deep ruts.
Yesterday as I was preparing to clear my driveway the neighbor called and asked if I needed a hand but I turned down the offer as I have the blower. I sure have great neighbors.
It looks like I have to clear snow from the basement window.

Good morning Tony, decided to go back to bed when I saw it was pouring rain out. No way am I going to go out shopping in heavy rain with a 20 mph wind. Was a real chore just taking the trash to the road for pick up. Seems to quieted for a bit at the moment but we are expecting more. Temps are mild at 57F at the moment and holding. It will be quite a drop tonite though. Winter is giving us a taste of what is to come. No snow but sure gonna be chilly. Anyway I see the snowplow finally made it through your street and that the Queen has went out for a bit. Just take care out there. Have a great day.
