I never did get to mounting the medals yesterday. I just got too busy with company and my afternoon nap. Later in the evening I removed my fathers discharge certificate and the small plaque my BIL had made. Luckily I had used a thin double sided tape to mount the discharge certificate and there was no damage done to the linen document.
yesterday when I was going to take Abbey for her walk it started to drizzle. i though of going back and getting the rain wear but with the cool windy day I decided against it. i guess I'm getting soft in my old age.:) I did get her out for her daily BM about 7pm though. That poor dog must have held it back all day.

Good Morning, Tony!

Regarding cancelling out your walk with Abbey on yesterday's cold rainy day, you're certainly not getting softer in your so-called old age but wiser for it! With age, weather and circumstances upon us, both hubby and myself have had to reprioritize our daily lifestyle and/or agendas as well. Hopefully, we'll all live longer for it.

Sorry to hear that already there's the threat of snow in your immediate future. We're thankful that, this week, our temps have remained in the daytime 60ish range. Next week, we'll be bracing ourselves for a cold front moving in, but there appears no immediate forecast for snow to make it's initial appearance. FINGERS CROSSED!

Hope any snow you receive will come in only easily melting traces and that things will improve enough to resume, at least, a small walk with Abbey again. Stay safe, warm and well up there!

It's too soon for snow, isn't it? I know they are calling for 6 inches in Minnesota.

Take care!
