Yesterday was a quiet day on the prairie. I took Abbey for a 2.5 mile walk then had a nap. After my evening mealI baked a cake and debated on cleaning up the 2 other medals, I had sprayed with wrethane, of my fathers. I ended up just watching some TV and going to bed early.
Today I'll do some measuring on the grandmother clock and do some calculations on the scale I need for the mini clock I'm planning or get back to cleaning the urethane from the remaining medals that belonged to my father.
I see that my webcam is starting to show the the autumn colors on my neighbors trees. We don't get the bright reds here on the Northern Edge that they do in the east. I guess it's because our native trees are all a softwood variety with the poplar(Trembling Aspen) being the most common native tree. I have three huge trees in my backyard that keep their leaves until mid November. It's a rush then to get the leaves raked before the snow flies and covers them.

Good morning Tony. We do tend to have more hardwoods in Ontario but I do love the aspens as well and poplars too with their soft golden hues. Gonna miss having leaves on the trees when they fall but its all part of winter coming with its cold blustery weather.

Yes, dogs should not eat kitty food as is processed differently and will upset their tummies. Do you still have Kramer or did you have to give the poor boy away because of the little one's allergies? If so then it would be wise to pass what is left of his kibble to a neighbour who has a kitty and therefore keeping it away from Abbey.

Have a great day dear one. Stay warm.
