I now have wireless Internet on the Queen's tablet. I worked at it for 1/2 hour and was almost ready to give up. I was going to change my routers encryption mode and it needed resetting to do so. I changed it and still no luck so I changed back to my original setting, resetting the router again and POOF like magic the tablet picked up the network. Now I can download apps and install them from the GETJAR site for Androids. They have a lot of free games and apps that will keep her busy once she gets the hang of which buttons to push. The Queen does have a hard time with buttons. The TV remote gives her a hard time when she tries to use all of it's features.:)
I even managed to attach a 16 GB flash drive to the thing. By simply changing the flash drive I now have unlimited storage. Unlike the Queen I love the new technology. Gadgets fascinate me.
Yesterday the Queen worked untill 6 pm but told me not to bother making an evening meal for her. When she came home she took the youngest daughter and me out to dine. it sure was a better meal than I would have made.

I think the difference with my backyard and yours is that mine is 3 times the size of yours so I have more area for the leaves to blow...LOL I have a half acre in the back and yes I have 2 big maples, lots of cedars and one huge Spruce, not to mention flowering bushes etc....and that is back there, in the front, I get all the leaves from my neighbour's two maples. That is where I get the leaves to protect the plants in the front. Only thing now with the pyramid cedars in the front growing so big, I soon won't have an area for the leaves to blow through but it will sure act as a sound barrier from the heavy road traffic we get here. Lots of shade in the summer too. I get all the afternoon sun so they will help to cool the area down some. Anything to help curtail the high cost of summer AC.
Anyway time to enjoy my first cup of coffee so have yourselves a great Sunday. Glad you got out for dinner. One of these day's I will treat myself too but for now I am pretty well housebound.
