Retired and loving it. If I'd have known about retirement befor I started my 40 year career with the government of Manitoba I'd have retired first. :)

Well off to make a couple of toast to go with my cup of coffee then get dressed. Have a good day puttering with the snowblower and getting ready for winter. Let's hope in Oct we have a nice Indian Summer to enjoy before the snow flies.
I call that progress, and an indication of your strong will! Bravo, Tony! :)
Glad to hear you're puttering, though. That means you're feeling better!
The big deal here today was the space shuttle flying around. Here are a couple of pics I took - nothing like the photos the people with the big lenses take, but still pretty neat.
Great photos of the shuttle.
While I was working at a park the park manager was setting up for a remote controlled model airplane show. One of the fellows had attached a remote controlled glider to his small plane and when the small plane reached altitude he'd release the glider and fly them both safely to the ground. he must have gotten the idea from the shuttle sitting on the back of a 747.
I like to prepare things well ahead of time. I changed the oil in the blower in August. The neighbors must have thought I'd lost it having the blower out at 80f. It sure beats freezing your fingers though.
Enjoy your day.
