A Stinky Dog and Prairie Wild Flowers

Today will be partly cloudy in the morning, then clear. The high of 28C(82.4f) will be accompanied by winds from the NNW at 10 to 20 km/h.
Tonight will be overcast in the evening, then partly cloudy. The low will be 13C(55.4f). The wind will be from the WNW at 10 to 15 km/h.

That darned Abbey. The day before yesterday she rolled on a dead gopher and everyone complained of the terrible smell. I had told them before if I washed it off she'd just do it again but gave her a washing anyway. Sure enough she found the same rotting carcass and did it again yesterday. It was worse this time as the thing must have exploded when she rolled on it again. I think I'll keep her off the gopher trails for a while until the thing drys up. I'll take her on the downtown route where I keep her leashed and no chance of finding a rotting gopher.
Yesterday I said I'd post some photo's of prairie weeds in full bloom.

Dogs sure do like that smelly stuff, Tony! We used to have a dog that was fond of fresh cowpies! Fortunately, it wasn't an inside dog, but we had to bathe it anyway because it liked to rub up on us! :) Good luck; maybe in a few days the buzzards will have taken care of it! Good morning Tony. Oh my allergies are flaring up just looking at your pics...LOL Ragweed season is upon us and all this dry weather made it worse this year. Aerius is a lady's best friend. Achhhhhh choooooo!!!! Overcast and a nice little breeze out, hopefully it won't rain this morning so I can get out and cut the front lawn. If not, oh well, we can always try again another day.
