The Heart MRI

Today will be clear with a high of 26C. The wind willl be the Westerly at at 10 to 20 km/h.
Tonight will start oercast in the evening t mostly cloudy with a chance of rain. The overnight low will be 15C. The wind will be from the SSW at 5 to 15 km/h. Chance of rain 60% with rainfall amounts near 2.0 mm possible.

The Queen and I had a good trip to the Morden/Winkler area for the MRI. The MRI for the heart sure is alot different from the head scans I've had. The head MRI you just lie there and the machine does all the work. If it wasn't for the noise a person could have a nap. The heart MRI involves 15 minutes of taking deep breaths then exhaling all the air to empty the lungs then holding your breath for 15 to 20 seconds. If a person did that on a daily basis you could become an opera singer. :)
The stomach muscles get a good workout too while holding your breath.

Good Afternoon, Tony ~ Glad all went reasonably well during your heart MRI the other day. Sounds like you'll be able to cinch in your belt a few notches if this keeps up. LOL! Looks like you're experiencing a beautiful day to recoup outdoors a bit. We also have lovely sunshine, warm, dry temps on tap today and should last through Tuesday. Hubby's making the most of it by puttering around outside with the pressure washer. Like we haven't had enough rainy days already!!! LOL! I better stop what I'm doing, shut the windows and quickly don my hooded raincoat! LOL! There's never a dull moment around here either! LOL! ROFLMBO....I decided to wait until now to say HI so I could give MUSH a fighting chance to be first...Poor baby, he has to be allowed to come first sometimes...heee heee heee. Been watching full length movies on youtube.com If you like Jackie Chan, they have a good array of his full length feature movies for free on there. The one I watched this afternoon was Eddy Murphy. Always good for a laugh. Anyway, just dropping by to see how you are doing and glad your MRI went well. Now its just a matter of waiting to get the results from your doc. Hope its all good news.
