Today will bring a mix of sun and cloud with a high of 31C(88F). UV index 9 or very high.
Tonight will be clear with a low of 14C(57F).

I had a productuve day yesterday. After taking Abbey for an early walk and sending the Queen off to work I decided it was time to repair a window that had been broken during the bathroom reno. I was going to just replace the broken glass with Plexiglas but decided to replace the frame and all with 1/4 inch lexan that I had in the hoard. The window is now almost bullet proof. :)
I have to think of a project for today that will keep be indoors. I may get back to the antique clock case and design a case for the quartz movement that still sits in the hoard. It's time to get back to garage sales and start replenishing the hoard.
The Newfoundland daughter is in California on a course and is looking for warm weather. She should have come to sunny Manitoba. Yesterday the high for LA was 24 while we were basking at 30C(86F). Today's high of 31C(87.8f) will call for shorts and a tee for me.

Good Afternoon Tony!

I must say I'm rather jealous of your sunny warmer weather right now. We've currently gotten out of the continuous spiraling of heavy rains, but have been left with gloomy skies and chilly temps. It was so chilly last night that our furnace kicked on a few times, as well as, early this am. Boo Hiss! At least, Thursday's looking much more promising, along with a spectacular weekend forecast ahead! Fingers crossed! My hubby and I are tired of feeling achy and sniffly while waiting this miserable week out.

So surprising how much of California has, for the most part, been cooler than us in the Northeast and parts of Canada. Perhaps your Newfoundland daughter can get that California warmth she craves from her hotel's hot tub. LOL! Hope she enjoys her California stay despite cooler than expected temps.

Kudos on your basement bathroom window repair! It sounds like it's now well secured and should stand the test of time or potential burglers!

Hope your Tuesday's a good one and that the weather remains decent enough for, at least, a short walk with Abbey. Play it safe!

Beware the garage sales, Tony! You may have to hitch a wagon to Abbey to haul it all back! :)

Enjoy the warmth!
