Yesterday i started to take Abbey out for her walk and when i got out of the house I realized it was raining. Instead of playinf chicken I donned my rainwear and took her out anyway. the dog didn't mind getting we at all. She did her usual gopher patrol and was really wet when i brought her home. A quick drying with her old towel solved that and she was allowed into the house.
Last night just before the Queen came home I was awakened by the sound of hail. When the Queen got home she said it wasn't fun driving home in the hailstorm. I'll have to check my bedding plants I planted yesterday to see if they were damaged.
Well time to go have a coffee with the Queen she's just been called into work early.

I am sure with this kind of heat, storms will be passing through. Anyway, have a great day.
Glad the Queen was able to safely make it home after driving through that hailstorm last night! I give her major kudos in the courage department! Sounds like the stones weren't large enough to do any damage to car or property, thank goodness.... or did they?
Looks like we're getting a day long reprieve from the threat of rain or t'storms today. The days are getting hotter and more humid, so the threat of pop-up t'storms may materialize. Sadly, the possiblility of these storms appears to be extending well into our Memorial Day weekend holiday. It certainly puts a crimp in making any final outdoor plans, but we'll have to make the most of those sunny breaks in between. Guess summer's chomping at the bit to finally arrive! Just hope it provides us with less challenging weather events than last year. We could do without another historic and damaging tornado touching down in our State! June 1st marks the one year anniversary and many people still haven't been able to rebuild or recover. :(
Enjoy your day and early breakfast with the Queen!
At least it didn't hail on you and Abbey yesterday! Did the plants make it?
Have a good evening!
