Yesterday Abbey missed her walk again, with the strong northerly winds and falling temps i decided to stay home.
I didn't tackle the cuckoo clock but did take a quartz clock apart and reassemble it just to see if I could do it. It seems to be working just fine this morning but the hour hand is a bit out of place, I guess I didn't get it on right last night. oh well a project for today.
I was talking with my sister in Medicine Hat Ab. yesterday and she told me they had snow and that Calgary ad really been dumped on. I wonder if the record breaking highs we had earlier in March was our summer. ?
Well the Queen just got up, time for coffee.

Sorry we can't share with you some of our record breaking heat (approx. 91F degrees by afternoon) today. As wonderful as these periodic summery temps have been, we continue to be on guard due to a continued drought producing many Red Flags. Hopefully, this upcoming Sunday will provide us with enough heavy rainfall for much needed relief. Nevertheless, compared to what's been going on in the top to bottom mid-section of the US, I feel extremely lucky!!!
Hope that you and the Queen feel warmed and envigorated by that first cup of coffee this am. May you have an enjoyable Monday in spite of today's chilly La Prairie forecast! BRRR!
