Today will see the rain and fog ending early this afternoon then clearing. The high will be 19C(66F). UV index 4 or moderate.
Tonight will be clear with an overnight low of 5C(41F).

The Coo-Koo clock is history. I glued the broken case back together but the movement didn't like the 7 foot fall. Gears had slipped out of there bushings and the verge was bent. I managed to get the 3 gears back in place but the verge has bent also. Darned if I can get it back to the proper shape. No more tic-toc :)
Oh well I have another working cuckoo in my collection.
Abbey and me stayed home yesterday due to rain. It's just not warm enough to don the slickers and venture onto the gopher trails. Besides that the Queen would not be happy when I bought home a smelly dog.
My latest baking adventure didn't turn out the way I expected. I wanted the large soft cinnamon buns but ended up with the same type of cinnamon rolls I had with the yeast less cinnamon rolls I made. The daughter says she'll send me a recipe to make the fluffier type of buns.

Just remember Tony, yesterday was Friday the 13th. Sometimes things don't always go the way we want but we must continue to try. Same goes for baking, somedays things turn out great, other days, well you know....

Have a great weekend.

Good morning Tony,

Sorry to hear about your broken clock; you gave it a try to put it back together again.

Good luck on the next batch of cinnamon buns!

Enjoy your Saturday.
