A late post today. My internet was down as well as the tv and landline
When I called my service provider at 3 pm yesterday they said it would be Monday ubtill they could send a tech to repair it.
Last night at 7 I called them again and received the same answer. I gently but forcefully let them know I was not happy with the service. A technician has just left. the problem was a misplaced jumper 2 blocks away. One of their techs had been working on the box yesterday and didn't get the wires back in the right location. I guess it pays to be tactful when contacting for service. 25 years of getting contractors to do their job properly taught me how to keep my cool and get the results I want.
When I get the after service call I'll get give the tech a high rating but the the 3:00 lady who told me to take a walk in the park to pass the time will definately get a failng grade.

Yeah for Kiwi....number one today. Was wondering what had happened. Its a bummer when they give you the run around and need a wakeup call to show them you can't be messed with. The last time they tried something like that with me, I told them thanks but I would be going somewhere else for service. They had someone over that same day to fix it rather than sometime in the next 5 business days....LOL A month later, I got rid of all of Bell products, switched over to cogeco and have been happy since. All my phone lines I even cut so there is no Bell service coming into the house. Telephone, TV and high speed internet is all Cable....best thing I could ever do. Whoever buys this house after me will have to rewire if they want Bell. ROFLMBO

Have a fun Friday evening Tony....catch ya tomorrow

You think after over 100 years of service, phone companies would have more reliable products! I'm always fussing about something my phone company does, but what to do? I don't have access to cable like Alley!
