Another Challenge on the Prairie

Yesterday Abbey and me went on the downtown route. Has that dog ever have a good memory. When we approach the railway tracks she looks west along a road we used to take that he railway uses to access a switch on the main line that switches the train to a another destination off of the mainline. We used to take that route along the tracks as it was excellent gopher hunting grounds with open spaces along the railway right of way that were always kept cut short. I guess she remembers the hunts she had along there. Since my stroke the Queen has advised me not to take that route any more as I has to cross the tracks on the way home at a spot that isn't a crossing. I know that if I ddon't heed the Queen's advisories I'll be in big trouble. :)
After discarding the small pendulum movement and took an old watch that hasn't worked in years apart and have it running. Somewhere in it's history it seems to have lost the minute hand. It's not of much use but it was the challenge that had me work on it.

Rainy weather for us today with temps in the 60s. Sure glad I got that grass cut. Anyway have a great day..time to start making something to eat. Still have not had any breakfast yet so Brunch it will be.
