I didn't get a chance to do a blog yesterday. I was the official day care person for the oldest great granddaughter while her mom and the Queen worked. We sure had a good time. We went for a short wagon ride in the morning to pick up milk at the corner store. The grandson's came over and raked my back lawn which I had not done last fall. The little girl helped by running and jumping in the piles of leaves. A great help that was. :) After the lawn was done we all had a treat of my cinnamon rolls and milk. The yeast less cinnamon rolls were a hi it and the dozen and a half I made quickly disappeared. I think I may have started a family feud though. The SIL remarked that the rolls were good, just like his mom used to make. When he went out again the daughter said " He shouldn't have said that because now I won't make them. :) You should never compare mom's cooking to the wife's. She did take a copy of my recipe though:).
When the daughter and her family left we had a picnic , eating our soup and sandwich out at the picnic table then I took Abbey for her walk with the little girl in tow in a wagon. I thought the 2.5 mile walk in new shoes might be a bit much for the 4 year old. On our way home we saw McCain's special little train they use to bring product and vegetable oil from and to the plant along their own line to the main line where the CPR drops off and picks the stuff off.
On our way home we met the Queen coming home from work.
The little girl sure enjoyed her day with papa and slept soundly after all the fresh air and activities.

Good morning Tony, I see you made the rounds to our blogs this morning but did not post anything new on here...Rascal.....

Anyway lots to do around here today once the fog burns off. Gonna start with the yard cleanup and check out the lawnmower. With 80s the next few days, I think I may end up having to cut the front lawn. Grass is sure growing fast...

Have a wonderful Monday dear one. Enjoy your day.

Hi, Tony! Glad to see you back! I've never heard of yeastless cinnsmon rolls! Is it a really wet dough when you make them, or is it denser, like a biscuit?

You could make a harness for Abbey and attach the wagon to it so she could give rides! :)

Have a nice evening!

Good morning Tony. Sounds like you had a wonderful time with the little one. Bonding with the little ones at this time in their life will reap benefits later on in their lives. What sweet memories they will have.

Another nice day here, sunshine, warmth and yes maybe even a t-storm later...Isn't spring grand...Sure beats snow and cold weather. Everything is budding out and soon the trees and bushes will all be covered in leaves. Still have not seen our first robin here but I am sure its only a matter of time. MI already has seen some.

Well dear ones, have a great Sunday. Time for me to grab that first cup of morning coffee.
